You create you!

“I am thinking of the times
I have been let down,
sometimes by the world
sometimes by myself,
and
it makes me realise
of the times
I have pulled myself up,
accepting what is
for what it is,

And painting again my soul
my heart
to create my life
into a new art”

Your life, is your own creation. Yes some colours are filled by others, but the rest is your own work. The work of creating it, into something uniquely beautiful or simply changing your perception about it.

“I never paint dreams or nightmares. I paint my own reality.” – Frida Kahlo

You will always be let down, atleast once by others or by your own self but what matters is, how you pick yourself up again, how you paint your own reality.

You create you. Always. Its your choice. Your life is your art. Colour it the way you want it.

I recreated this design from the internet. Full credits and respect to the original artist!

Thank you for visiting. Happy to hear from you. Cheers!

  1. Rupa, this sums it all up exceptionally well:
    β€œI have pulled myself up,
    accepting what is
    for what it is,
    And painting again my soul
    my heart
    to create my life
    into a new art”
Your writing is excellent and deeply profound. Peace and light.

  2. And life is also the reflection of our past lives in the sense of: “What we sow, we have to reap…”
So part of our life is filled with the Pralabdha karma, karma that is taken from the huge storehouse where all karmas (due to actions and reactions) are gathered over many lives. This kind of karma is called Sanchit karma. So indeed we have free will. However, that is limited, as some rails of the past are put into our lives on which our life-train has to go along. Within certain borders, we can choose the direction where we go. There can be our creation, our seeds that bear fruit over time.
Thank you very much for sharing, dear Rupa
All the best to you, dear friends πŸ™‚
